TOP TIPS
Throw your stone underarm, try to make it bounce across the top of the water.
Take turns with your friends, cheer each other on and count the bounces.
Ask an older brother or sister, a friend or a parent to show you how it’s done.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Flat, round stones/pebbles
Water (not too wavy) like the sea, a lake or a slow moving river.
RISKY BUSINESS
Don’t throw stones towards people
Don’t pick up heavy stones that could hurt your feet if you drop them
Always take care near water. Make sure you ask a grown up or, even better, take one with you.
